After that, in addition to being promoted as an industry by the Kurume clan, it developed as a cotton with unique and unique techniques thanks to the ingenuity of its predecessors, such as the ``Ekasuri technique'' and ``Kokasuri technique.''
In 1975, it was designated as a national important intangible cultural property.
